I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.

Asal Mula Kembang Api

Menurut sejarahnya kembang api bermula dari ditemukannya petasan pada abad ke 9 di Cina. Ceritanya pada waktu itu seorang juru masak tidak sengaja mencampurkan tiga bahan bubuk hitam ( black powder ) yaitu garam peter dan KNO3 ( kalium nitrat ) belerang ( sulfur ) dan arang kayu ( charcoal ). Ternyata ketiga bahan tersebut merupakan bubuk mesiu yang mudah terbakar. Jika ketiga bahan tersebut dimasukan kedalam sebatang bambu dan bambu yang ada sumbunya kemudian dibakar maka akan terjadi suara ledakan yang keras.
